Youth Empowerment Foundation (YEF) is a non-profit, NGO working to improve knowledge, behaviours and skills for young people in: We strive to foster a culture of responsibility and challenge the status quo inherent in our young population with the following values as a guide: •Culture of collaboration – Working with strategic partnership for a better tomorrow Founded in 1995, Youth Empowerment Foundation (YEF) delivers high quality programme and services and had partnered extensively with local and International developmental organizations is its over 20 years of existence. As the pioneer of the HIV/AIDS hotline in Nigeria in 2001, YEF has served more than 2 million young people on their tuft with our dedicated team of vibrant and passionate staff in our offices in Lagos, Ibadan and Abuja FCT.
About Us
– Sexual reproductive health, HIV awareness and prevention, personal and team leadership.
We work with young people in reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, leadership and life-skills in Nigeria.
We do this through developing key life-skills such as:
– Saving and finance, cooking and nutrition, employability and apprenticeship training and through sport!
We reach young people in partnership with schools and community groups. We use sport to deliver much of our work; it improves physical fitness, supports good mental health and builds teamwork skills… and it is fun!

Brief History
Our Goal Project of 9 years has trained and empowered over 100,000 young girls on leadership, gender based violence awareness and prevention, rights and Financial Literacy.
