This is an economic empowerment intervention for adolescents in the senior secondary school classes and those who have completed their secondary education. YEF as an organization, has been working with in- school adolescent for over 21 years. YEF main goal is to empower the most vulnerable and hard-to-reached communities with skills and strategies which could enable them to graduate from helpless condition of poverty, continued exploitation and abuse, to acquisition of knowledge, skills and strategies for economic empowerment; leading to informed decision making ,self-reliance and secure livelihoods.
However, some of the beneficiaries learning various vocations under Empowered For the Future (E4F) project are cooping well in their training’s. Findings from the organization’s Monitoring and Evaluation(M/E) team during their routine visits affirmed that the apprentices learning facial beautification’s (Make-Up) have completed their training, while the head dressers, fine arts, tailoring and designing, GSM technicians etc are on the final stage of their apprenticeships.
