Skills For Life (S4L)

This is an employability, literacy and leadership enhancement intervention for girls aged 16 to 20 years living in grassroots communities of Ajegunle and Mushin, Lagos State; Molete and Oke-Ado, Oyo State. Financed by Standard Chartered Bank and implemented by YEF, Skills For Life enhances livelihood skills of girls through job placements, apprentice schemes and experiential partnership learning or job shadowing exercise; secondary school 3 students who have a career choice of study going to senior classes, by extension, to tertiary institutions. They are placed at an established field of their interest for 4 weeks firsthand and practical information of their dream careers within target communities.
